Understand that I cannot, for very important reasons, and the Polish issue
As members of the Watchdog Polska Civic Network , we act as co-organizers of a protest action in Warsaw.
We are from Lubartów, we are not going to the capital city, it does not mean that we will not do anything.
Poland is not only Warsaw, not only large cities. No matter how we would like to hide in our backwater, this case concerns us. And you need to be aware of this that the fact that we do not feel like clients of courts on a daily basis means that this is a positive manifestation of their activity. It is not even about the fact that each of us can act as an aggrieved party, perpetrator or witness. This is obvious. The discreet presence of the judiciary in our lives is a condition that characterizes democratic societies. Often, changes to the codes are made on the basis of similar judgments of courts. So we cannot say that it does not concern us. Have you ever been to court? Do you think you won't be because you are honest? You're not hurting anyone? And no one will ever hurt you? The court is only for bullies and thieves? So only for the perpetrators, not for the victims? Your employer has never cheated on you? The Office has never issued and will not issue an unfair decision?
Stay home then. Someone will do it for you… as always.
We are under our judgment tomorrow. And let Lubartów be lit only by two candles.
But it won't be completely dark.
