We read in today's Community that the councilor Krówczyński was inspired by a city resident, and his role is to develop a project ... we were damned, but it was close.
The appropriation of the civic budget is in full swing.
Councilor Tomasz Krówczyński spoke about the fact that it cannot be that someone will come up with something. And at the session he said that the civic budget is a debt generator for the city in a situation where we have a shortage budget.
It somehow does not matter when it is the councilors who submit applications to the civic budget. And that's why councilor Krówczyński at the session declared that he would abstain from voting on the resolution on allocating funds for BO, but he probably had to think that he had a motion again, so he voted "for".
Contrary to other councilors who become opponents of the civic budget when their "civic" motions are lost in voting. The reluctance of councilor Kusyk towards BO was probably increased after an unsuccessful attempt to finance the municipal toilet. For the councilor of Ścisło, this increase was probably due to the fact that the modernization of the existing playground in Osiedle Szaniawskiego is in progress, but for example the hardening of ul. W. Śliwina had too few followers. It is true that he voted for the resolution, but he was not happy.

No, councilor - your role is to help in the development of the project and encourage the resident to submit it, and to support others with signatures and voting. Because it is not you who is to promote yourself for city money, but to encourage residents to co-decide about city money. That is, doing what the Lord de facto refuses them, which can be caught by listening to the speeches at the meeting of the "Very Special BO Commission with Extra Remuneration".
No surprise for us. We have already written about why we think it is wrong. And seriously, we are not at all surprised by people that they don't care. The task of the civic budget is to involve residents, not to go to the vote, and the councilor to write in the election flyer.
What does the councilor have? The councilor is to submit applications to the city budget.
Then he is to convince his colleagues from the Council to vote for his motion. And if they are against, they have the opportunity to heroically raise their hands and demonstrate their opposition. And the councilor can then heroically go out to people and announce that he has not managed to convince the council. And the remaining councilors can heroically go out, fulfilling the obligations arising from the act on self-government, explain to the self-government community why they did not support these ideas.
And, what is terrible (!) - the councilor can then persuade people of the species - my voters and not only - to try to build a piece of pavement from the civic budget. And then talk to them if they have mobilized themselves and their friends enough. He knows, the councilor - "who screams louder, more people will attract more people to the hall". After all, that's a councilor's word.
We know who will shout loudly before the next election, what he has managed to do. In the video material and on the Facebook page, let him explain to voters why he is campaigning for money allocated to their activation.
In our opinion - Councilors are trying to make fools of us for our money. Plow the "civic" budget and plant carrots. And let you do the job for which you get the allowances.
