Days of Lubartów 2016
Threats? Triumph of form over content.
Solution? Keeping the proportions.
At the beginning of the year, the Lubartów Cultural Center organized a survey, which was to be a guideline for the organizers of the city festival. The organizer and at the same time an intermediary between the actual sponsors of the concert - that is the inhabitants of Lubartów - decided to ask for whose concert we would like to pay.
A valid assumption. How did we vote? Lemon received the most votes (2,127), Margaret (2005) came second, and Kamil Bednarek (1763) came third. The Lubartowiak newspaper published by us published information that the organizers will talk to the performers and - quoting the director of LOK: "Certainly one of them will play during the Days of Lubartów."
Today it is known that "for sure" does not mean for real. Who will perform? Twenty people, out of over six thousand taking part in the poll, will be satisfied with the choice of the contractor. Varius Manx will be the star of the evening.
I have not found the program, but referring to the "Click here" website, nothing new will happen during this year's Days of Lubartów.
I read: "they will present themselves, among others, producers of local and regional delicacies, Rural Housewives' Clubs, agritourism farms, ecological farms, associations, local artists, craftsmen, handicraft makers. "
Certainly, this form will find its amateurs, but I do not see any offers for residents with interests other than cooking, etc. I mean local politics.
And here I come out with a serious proposal.
Since we asked the councilors several times to provide contacts and our request was received differently, maybe you will find time to go out to the voters "live"? I often hear and read about how bad it is. And the fact that people do not come, that they are not interested or do not listen, and most importantly - they do not adopt the expected attitudes. Why should it be otherwise, if:
- Councilors - with the exception of the Chairman of the Council - are not on duty.
- Not all councilors shared contacts.
- Councilors do not organize regular meetings with residents.
There is an opportunity to catch up. The proposal is to organize an open public tribune during the Days of Lubartów. Physically I can see a very simple organization: 21 tables with a few chairs. On the table, obligatory information with the name and surname of the councilor and the district from which he holds the mandate. Candies, cakes, fruit - I leave the choice to the Councilor ;) Maybe someone will join you, and if not - no one will accuse you of not wanting to meet.
And what? And how did I do? Soap and jam? ;) I agree. Like a city festival on the occasion of the Days of Lubartów : D
However, it does not have to be this way.
