Lubartów, September 2018

Future candidates came to Piłsudski Square.

We invited all residents to the "Drum for the City Council".

As we warned, we will publish the answers to our questions to all those who declared their participation in the elections and visited us during the " Drums for the City Council " event.

We invite you to read the answers of the candidates.

The first of these people is Paweł Tchorek from KWW Lubartów Community .

Another candidate  is Maciej Polak from KWW Wspólny Lubartów .

Councilor Jakub Wróblewski performs with us in two places. Here you will find  description of the candidate for Mayor. He also visited us during the event and here you can read the answers to our questions .

It's not everything! The election period is full of meetings, many questions, promises and discussions. Apart from those organized by us, we also visited others. Where? Check it out here.

Lubartów, May 2018

Voter's Essentials

Useful information for those who will elect council members this year will be here  City and Mayor.

There were supposed to be JOWs.

And once in Lubartów we elected 21 councilors from 21 constituencies.

In the fall of this year, the situation will become more complicated again. We are going back to the previous ordination. We have to prepare for the fact that the Election Committees will try to fill their electoral lists with the maximum number of candidates in order to increase their chances.

What will the candidates seduce us with?

Less conscious voters may be satisfied with a superficial assessment, a nice smile, i.e. such Miss / Mister Lubartow election. A more aware and demanding voter will analyze the candidate's current social activity, his participation in public life - the whole. Miss's election is different. Look around you, who starts to say "good morning" to you (or at all), maybe they will ask you in a friendly way: "what's up?" A person in whom you would not suspect interest before  - so we recommend vigilance. Miss selection is limited to one Christmas evening, the rest are honorary functions.

The councilor should work for four years and his activity should be greater in the back room than on the stage. In the sense that we would like more analysis of the documents on which she is voting, public consultations with our voters, who can be counted on the fingers of one hand in the passing term, and animation and educational activities.

Did your councilors invite you to the sessions? Did you attend? We know you don't, but why?

Meanwhile, the City Council passed a resolution that divides Lubartów into four constituencies and determines how many councilors will be elected in each constituency.

Mister Urzędu

Shocking! Who will we choose to be the Minister of the City Hall?

You know that we believe the campaign lasts four years. At least. It's not a good statement that mayoral candidates are “revealing” because it suggests that they were previously crypto candidates, but that's not what we're talking about.

Campaigns have their own rules. Regardless of whether we choose Miss Polonia or local authorities. Candidates of all competitions know very well that the way of presenting themselves is often more important than themselves. Who will seduce us this time? Whose campaign will appeal to voters the most?

Meanwhile, the following people announced their participation in the elections:

Krzysztof Paśnik, who was a candidate in the 2014 elections from KWW Wspólny Lubartów (also the largest club in the Council), is a member of the PSL and received 1,444 votes in the previous election.

Piotr Skubiszewski, who previously ran for the councilor of KWW Independent Together and now also declares that he will run from the citizens' committee, Councilor of the City Council of Lubartów (supporting the incumbent Mayor Janusz Bodziacki) who resigned in 2017 due to taking up work in the Provincial Office in Lublin.

Jakub Wróblewski from the Civic Platform, starting from a grouping called Koalicja Obywatelska, associating PO and modern activists and non-party members, a councilor of the Lubartów City Council for another term.

There are rumors that the current Mayor Janusz Bodziacki, a candidate from the Law and Justice Election Committee, will not run, but for now - we do not know, because at the end of April he told journalists of the Lubartów Community: future." All in all, it's a bit disturbing.

So, "last but not least" - Radosław Szumiec, a candidate for the mayor of KWW Lubartów Community for the third time, originally with roots in SLD (Lubartów Community, not a candidate). We will write a few words about each of them.

But since Radosław Szumiec is the Deputy Mayor, we will start with him, because it is a continuity of power.

So:

Candidate Radosław Szumiec

Candidate Piotr Skubiszewski

Candidate Jakub Wróblewski

Candidate Krzysztof Paśnik

The candidate is Waldemar Gąsior

Candidate Janusz Bodziacki

... and so we finish with the Mayor in office, although ...

As you can see, you won't read too many words about the current Mayor. It is understandable to us. You were eight for your own judgment.
