Candidate for the Mayor - Krzysztof Paśnik

He was a candidate for mayor in the 2014 elections with KWW Wspólny Lubartów is a member of the PSL and received 1444 votes in the previous election.

How can residents associate this surname? In 2014, he participated in consultations regarding the eastern road.  He was also a member of the Civic Budget Team.

He visited us during the "Drums about the City Council" event, where he answered a few questions.

What does Krzysztof Paśnik say about himself?

I am a new person in the local government environment, but with extensive experience gained at various levels of professional career in business, large companies of the State Treasury, as well as in the provincial government.

  1. Why am I the best candidate?

All my competitors, whose names appear in the surrounding media, are people who already ruled or co-ruled Lubartów. There are no differences between J. Bodziacki, R. Szumec, J. Wróblewski, and P. Skubiszewski. They will support each other, whichever is chosen. In Lubartów, it will be the same as it has been for the last 8 years, ie apathy, preservation of what has been, "hot water in the tap", general satisfaction, an exotic coalition.

I am distinguished by the committee from which I start, which says what it is like and does not get caught up in any political puzzles.

   2. What is my professional position?

I work at the Center for the Meeting of Cultures in Lublin as the Deputy Director for Infrastructure Management. I manage the assets of the institution of the Marshal of the Lubelskie Voivodeship.

   3. I understand exactly what public funds are. And why do we need to take care of them.

And your voters   I will be  he explained it as follows:

Public resources are resources that belong to all of us. They should be allocated to expenses necessary to improve the lives of the inhabitants of Lubartów. We have to collect them and spend them on the most important things. It is such a home budget only more extensive. We have income (e.g. wages) and expenses that we can afford.

   4. I have been interested in local government for a long time. I spoke on important social issues.          Examples:

  1. Reduction of prices for the collection of waste (solid waste)

  2. Construction of the eastern road

  3. Nursery on Reja Street

  4. Civic Budget

  5. The resignation of the city of Lubartów from the ZKGZL

   6. Construction of a sports complex at ul. Parkowa

   5. I can explain what local law is and what I will do if I stay              chosen.

Regulations generally applicable to all residents living in a given area, e.g. the city of Lubartów, what they should do and what rights they have, e.g. regulations on the use of sports facilities. How will I be elected, among others I will amend the Civil Budget Regulations so that it can also be used by residents of multi-family housing, housing and cooperative communities.

What would you like to change in Lubartów?

I would like to break the enormous indebtedness of the city by Szumec and Bodziacki. Start spending the budget, which is all our money, on roads and sidewalks and not on the renovation of a fountain that has just been built. In summer, dirt, in winter, roads and sidewalks without snow, and the current mayors of Bodziacki and Szumiec do not notice the needs of the inhabitants, which are obvious, simply human. The new mayor will have a lot of work to do. The most important issue will be the implementation of investments from the civic budget and much needed investments in urban infrastructure, in particular in water and sewage systems. Reducing the high fees for waste will be another important task to be accomplished. I would also like municipal investments to be largely financed by external funds. This is just a substitute for what I want to do when I get elected mayor of the city.
